Petralia Soprana Municipality has applied various green solutions Such as replacing the lighting in the city center with more efficient LED street ones; the installation of photovoltaic panels in some buildings of the municipality such as primary school, middle school, and kindergarten, the city delegation in Pianello (It is a fraction part of the township of Petralia Soprana); the nursing home for the elderly in Madonnuzza (It is a fraction of the township of Petralia Soprana) and the changing rooms of the sports fields in Petralia Soprana and Trinità (It is a fraction of the township of Petralia Soprana).
