During the meeting, the ECPE project of the University of Camerino will be presented, coordinated by Professor Lucia Ruggeri.

This morning was held at the Municipality of Bevagna “Interventi di ottimi azione energetica per la diffusione della cultura di fonti di energia pulita nel territorio del Comune di Bevagna”. The event is part of Sustainable Energy Day-EUSEW2021. The ECPE project, coordinated by Professor Lucia Ruggeri of the University of Camerino, was presented.

Annarita Falsacappa, Mayor of the City of Bevagna has had an Introductory presentation address. Also present were Umberto Bonetti, Councillor for Urban Planning and Environment, Marco Gasparrini, Councillor for Culture, Paola Ferri, technical area manager, Ambrogio Fichera, administrative area manager and Francesca Letizia Tasselli, specializing in civil law. Giovanni Russo, PhD Unicam and Manuela Giobbi, research fellow, spoke about energy communities and Italian best practices.

Yesterday the ECPE project, coordinated by Professor Lucia Ruggeri of the University of Camerino, was presented to primary school Istituto Virgo Lauretana in Grottammare. Giuseppe Di Giminiani, Dean and Founder of the Virgo Lauretana Institute and Miriam Persico, school director, were present at the meeting. The teachers participated in all the activities of the meeting. The ECPE researchers Maria Paola Nico, PhD and Manuela Giobbi, research fellow, spoke about renewable energy sources.

On 27 October 2021 the seminar “L’energia comune dei comuni. Nuovi Attori per una transizione energetica giusta” organized by Federconsumatori Lazio was held in the Municipality of Monterotondo. The meeting was attended by Stefano Monticelli, President of Federconsumatori Lazio, Riccardo Varone, Mayor of Monterotondo and President of ANCI Lazio and Roberto Del Ciello, Director of Energy. The meeting was held in collaboration with the ECPE project, coordinated by Professor Lucia Ruggeri of the University of Camerino. ECPE researchers Giovanni Russo, PhD student and Manuela Giobbi, research fellow, were present.

During the seminar, Valeria Caforio has presented a new project called Comunè, and Andrea Scivoletto, a PhD student at the University La Sapienza in Rome, spoke about the activity of Comunè.

The event was inserted in the Sustainable Energy Day-EUSEW2021. Also, the event laid the foundations in the Municipality of Monterotondo for the establishment of one of the first energy communities in the region of Lazio.

Next 29 October will be presented ECPE Project in a primary school called "Istituto Virgo Lauretana" in Grottammare.

Two researchers of the ECPE Project will be a speaker in an event organizer by Federconsuamatori Lazio. The event called "The common energy of municipalities. New actors for a just energy transition" will be next 27 October from 10 to 11.30 a.m.

Last 11 October Ecpe Project was presented during an event organized by Unione Nazionale Consumatori Umbria and Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile.

Next 25 August 2021 from 11.30 am to 13.20 pm (Italian time) SGEM going to organize the VIIIth SWS International Scientific Conferences. In the first session, the ECPE Project will be the protagonist. Some person from the research group will be involved:

- Professor Lucia Ruggeri will be the Conveyor of the session;

- Professor María Dolores Sánchez Galera present a speech about the "Enabling Collective Energy Prosumers as the Only Venue for a Just Transition. A Social Justice Approach";

- Assistant Professor Kozue Kashiwazaki present a speech about the "Emerging prosumers in Japan: from technology to planning-based, top down to bottom-up";

- Professor Meruyert Narenova present a speech about the "The energy policy in Kazakhstan";

- Research Fellow Manuela Giobbi speech about the "Questionnaire presentation".
