Legambiente Marche Onlus is the regional headquarters of Legambiente. It is an environmental association that is particularly attentive to the environmental problems of the Marche region and the dissemination of the values of democracy, solidarity and social cohesion. 
It promotes regional coordination of environmental education projects and sustainable development. It enhances small municipalities and local economies by promoting the activities that characterize Italy such as sustainable tourism, renewable energies and cultural heritage.

Serrenti is a small Sardinian municipality, with just under 5000 inhabitants, a precursor in the start of initiatives of collective self-consumption between public buildings. Already in 2010, thanks to two projects in the technical maintenance office such as ILLUMINAMENTE and S.E.I, there were huge savings on both public lighting and municipal buildings, planning the first pioneering smart micro-grids.

In 2014 the Municipalities of Sant’Angelo in Lizzola and Colbordolo have been merged in one single Council named Vallefoglia. In last years, Camerino Municipality has invested on the environmental sustainability. The energy efficiency improvements have been various, like as, the replacement of the old LPG boiler with a new generation methane gas one, and the installation of LED lamps in the Le Calvie leisure centre. Numerous projects have been financed, i.e. the charging station for 6 no. electric bikes and 2 no. electric cars. Feasibility studies have been undertaken in regard to other green projects.
