In 2014 the Municipalities of Sant’Angelo in Lizzola and Colbordolo have been merged in one single Council named Vallefoglia. The new-born Municipality has applied various green solutions such as replacing the old street lighting with the more efficient LED street lighting. This investment represents the implementation of the ‘Action Plan for the Green Energy’ (PAES - Piano di Azione per l’Energia Sostenibile) approved by the City Council on the 21th July 2016.
Vallefoglia Council has invested on green and safe mobility, for instance by constructing the cycle lane between Bottega and Montecchio, and by identifying the most convenient sites for the EV charging stations, in order to support and promote the EV use.
