AISFOR is private knowledge and capacity building company working on the green sector – from energy to agriculture – at National and European level. As a training company AISFOR is accredited with Lazio Region to deliver Regional vocational training courses on green topics. Further to the regional training courses AISFOR has built and delivered numerous courses. As a capacity building company AISFOR plays an active role in European projects to develop, test and deliver innovative solutions to tackle societal needs and gaps in the green sector.

AISFOR was funded in 2001 and is based in Rome. In these years, AISFOR has worked on numerous regional, national and European projects increasing knowledge of market operators and other stakeholders, increasing awareness of citizens and contributing in building political consensus on green topics. In recent years AISFOR has focused on energy poverty coordinating the Horizon 2020 project ASSIST and participating in numerous European initiatives / events. AISFOR now manages the national network of Household Energy Advisors (HEAs, known also as TED – Tutor per l’Energia Domestica), operators coming from different professional backgrounds working directly on the ground with people in need specifically trained on energy poverty issues.
